Broad Band Light Therapy
This technology (sciton.com) utilizes the power of pulsed light to treat a vast array of conditions including: age spots, rosacea, redness and flushing, brown spots, birth marks, port wine stains, hyperpigmentation, sun spots/freckles, café au lait spots and more. Photothermal energy targets and eliminates many of the fine vessels that cause redness as well as targeting unwanted melanin responsible for pigmented lesions (i.e., age spots). Any area of the body can be treated. The most common areas are those exposed to sunlight such as the face, neck, back of the hands, chest and shoulders. Most patients achieve desired results in 2-5 treatments at 4 week intervals. This procedure has no “downtime.”

Broadband Light (BBL) Acne Treatments
Acne treatments use BBL technology to treat your condition. The BBL delivers energy to the affected areas by gently heating up the upper layers of your skin/dermis. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas will reach the sebaceous glands in your skin, thus reducing the number of active acne lesions. BBL acne therapy is effective on all skin types and tones. At least one to two treatments are needed to see results. Some patients will see results after the first treatment. Typically patients will receive 2 treatments per week until under control then we will recommend the best options for treatment on an individual basis in conjunction with a good at home skin care regimen may be recommended, such as Obagi’s CLENZIderm system is frequently prescribed for optimal results.
Skin Tyte Procedure
This exciting procedure helps to restore sagging, loose skin to a tighter, more youthful appearance. Broad band light technology (sciton.com) is used to gently heat up the upper layers of the skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas will stimulate your skin to generate new collagen. This will help restore your skin to its natural beauty, making it smoother, firmer, and younger looking. Treatments are spaced at 4 week intervals. The number of treatments varies per patient and individual
